Jonathon Nomee, center walks into the courtroom at the Juvenile Justice Building in Coeur d’Alene on Friday. Over two years ago he was speeding around a corner on U.S. 95 south of Coeur d’Alene when he slammed into a car driven by Erin Walker, a 42-year-old Moscow native who worked at Shoreline Community College. She died at the scene. Nomee was sentenced to serve up to a year in prison, likely at the North Idaho Correctional Institution in Cottonwood, before a judge decides if he should be released on probation or remain in jail.
