Huckleberry Patch League update

The wheat is beginning to separate from the chaff in the Huckleberries Patch Fantasy Football League. Unfortunately, my evilOlive team was among the casualties last week as two teams went nuts, scoring more than 180 team. Eric Hoteham’s Foster’s Hammy (3-0) thumped evilOlive (2-1) 180.8 to 87.64. If you’ve played Fantasy Football at all, you know that a score of 180 is incredible — even in a PPR (points per reception) league like ours. Funny thing? Foster’s Hammy didn’t score the most points in the Huckleberry Patch League over the weekend. That honor went to Sachi’s Ninja Minions (3-0), who throttled JMRusche’s Free on Appeal (1-2) 181.12 to 130.80.

My SR side kick Greg Lee also was treated roughly by the pack last weekend. CoeurGenX’s Fear the 12th Fan (3-0) beat Gregorious Lee (2-1) 133.08 to 91.48. In other games, ThomG’s Donald Trump’s Hair (1-2) picked up its first win over Darla’s winless Lockett Down, 118.42 to 99.70. And: CMW’s Leadheads 1-2) picked up his first win against CDACraig’s KC Chiefs (0-3), 147.90 to 84.88.
