Common Core ludicrous

I was quite disheartened to hear that Common Core educational standards are here to stay. If it’s so great, why are so many of our children failing?

And yes, the math is too ludicrous to even try to understand. For those readers who aren’t familiar with just how ludicrous, allow me to quote a joke that I saw online: If you have four pencils and seven apples, how many pancakes will fit on the roof? Purple, because aliens don’t wear hats.
