Remembering Hugh Evans

I was sad to learn of the recent death of Hugh Evans. I had the pleasure of working with him on the effort to establish the Honor Point Museum to honor those in the Inland Northwest who have served our country in the military and to celebrate the history of aerospace in our community.

He was an accomplished attorney and was keenly interested in the welfare of our community. Each time I had the pleasure of speaking with Hugh, I left our conversations feeling inspired and encouraged. He always brought out the best in people. I benefited from his wisdom and his sense of humor.

I would imagine that God has provided Hugh with a spectacular fishing hole in the life beyond this one. I will miss him.
