News judgment askew

I read with interest the front page of the Business section of the March 27 issue of The Spokesman-Review. The article was about Roy Oki’s time of service with UPS. It was very fact-filled and extremely interesting. He seems like a very upstanding citizen.

I have one question. Why wasn’t his article on the first page and Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton’s caucus results on the back page?

In my opinion, for what it is worth, most people who buy the paper would rather have read about Oki instead of the caucus results.
