Trib: Idaho foxes circle AG hen house
Republicans in Congress — including some from Idaho — are aghast at how Attorney General Loretta Lynch and her predecessor Eric Holder acted as lapdogs for President Obama. Republicans complain Lynch and Holder signed off on Obama’s executive order deferring deportation of undocumented workers, frustrated congressional inquiries into the “Fast and Furious” gunwalking scam and stonewalled questions about the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservative and Tea Party groups. But they can’t do much about it. The attorney general - the nation’s lead law enforcement officer - serves at the pleasure of the president of the United States. So you’d think Idaho Republicans would be doing cartwheels about having their own independent attorney general, Lawrence Wasden/ Marty Trillhaase , Lewiston Tribune. More here .
