More art benefits city

The most memorable parts of Spokane are the eye-catching murals and sculptures of runners. Without these works of art, Spokane would be a very drab city.

Not only would Spokane look better if we put more money toward the arts, but the city could also draw more attention. People want to visit and live in a city that has a thriving culture, driven by the arts.

We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
