The four candidates facing off for an open seat on the Idaho Supreme Court will appear at an Idaho State Bar forum this afternoon at the Idaho Law & Justice Learning Center in Boise; it’ll be streamed online here . The forum runs from 4-6 p.m. MT.
The four candidates: Rupert attorney Robyn M. Brody; Idaho Court of Appeals Judge Sergio Gutierrez of Nampa; state Sen. Curt McKenzie, R-Nampa; and Deputy Attorney General Clive Strong of Boise.
Marc Johnson of Gallatin Public Affairs will serve as the moderator. The four are vying for the seat that will open when current Chief Justice Jim Jones retires at the end of his current term; if one of the four doesn’t draw a majority in the May 17 election, the top two will face off in a runoff in November.
