Trump is anti-Republican

The Donald Trump campaign is an anomaly. He has received more popular votes than others, but has never received more than 40 percent of the Republican vote. This raises a serious concern about his ability to win the general election.

The process in state primaries and the convention allows delegates some latitude in selecting the nominee. They have a duty to the Republican Party and their constituents to nominate the best candidate and one that can win the general election. Trump has the highest negative rating of any candidates in history.

Throughout rump’s campaign, he has run on an anti-Republican Donald Trump Popularity Party campaign with more bombast than actual policies. His campaign of 35 percent duty on goods from China, Japans and Southeast Asia would cause a trade war that would be devastating to the economy of Western states and to lower income people who rely on less expensive goods.

I doubt he felt compelled to have to shop at Wal-Mart or other economy stores. His lambasting of Mexico would jeopardize the export of airplanes, apples, potatoes and other goods to Mexico. His whole campaign has been anti-Republican. Now he expects to be given their total support.
