Bonner County undersheriff resigns amid website scandal

The announcement comes a week after an unofficial website was set up for Terry Ford, who is challenging Wheeler for the Republican nomination for sheriff. The website was traced back to computer servers operated by Hale. Ford’s campaign has said the site, which features a blurry photo of him at a speaking event, was designed to make him look inexperienced. The Idaho Attorney General’s Office, Idaho State Police and Bonner County Prosecutor Louis Marshall are investigating the incident.
