BF Fire Department gets $50k in gear for “Shake It Off” dance

The all-volunteer Bonners Ferry Fire Department took home $50,000 in new fire gear for showing off their dance moves in a video competition. Eight firefighters danced to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” for a chance to win ten sets of Viking Turnout Gear. The winning video clocked in just under two minutes and features Chief Pat Warkentin in a kilt with a fire hose between his legs./ Staff reports , SR. More here .
