Goose takes a gander from lofty perch

WILDLIFE WATCHING — A friend of mine is in Yellowstone National Park mainly to observe wolves, which he’s been doing from daylight to dusk daily.  He’s shunned the temptation to chase bear jams and reports of cougars killing deer within sight of the road.

But he couldn’t resist stopping to set up and photograph this Canada goose, which apparently has a higher calling.
