Stupid politics in Valley, too

It is bad enough to be outraged by our national leaders, but it is disappointing to have to endure the same feeling locally.

Thanks to the decisions of our new Spokane Valley majority rule City Council members, the city is out about a half-million dollars in a settlement with former City Manager Mike Jackson.

Adding to my disgust is the majority councilmen cannot explain to the public why they fired Jackson. Even in the city of Spokane Valley, we cannot escape stupid politics.
