Update: Winds hamper boater search

From Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page:

“The Sheriff’s SONAR Team was on the water early this morning and have been searching throughout the day. They have located some images that they need to take a closer look at. Unfortunately, the high winds on the lake are making it impossible for the boat to anchor so they can deploy remote operated vehicle (ROV). They are suspending the search for this afternoon and will be resuming in the morning when the wind is expected to be calmer.”
