Letter: Some boaters clueless
In a letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press editor, Janice Ellison of Post Falls discusses the rudeness of boaters on the Spokane River:
We were gassing up our boat at Templin’s Marina gas dock and could not believe how many boaters have no clue what a no-wake-zone is! The staff at the gas dock have a siren that they blast and ask boaters to slow down, yelling, “Please slow down — no wake zone from the bridge to the no-wake buoy.” We saw boaters flip them off, one yelled to _____ off… I could not believe it! More here.
Question: Have you encounter a rude boater on local waterways? Tell us about it.
