Businesses lose everything in fire

Three Coeur d’Alene businesses now sit in a pile of rubble after a strip mall caught fire late Wednesday night. Once the fire made it’s way to the attic firefighters couldn’t stop it.

Located inside the strip mall near 4th Street and Hazel is Tangles hair salon, a pawn shop, and the Good Samaritan rehabilitation thrift store. The thrift store pays for addicts to go through Pastor Tim Remington’s rehab program through the Altar Church.

DFO: In college, I survived a fire in which I lost all my earthly possessions except the blanket on my bank that I snagged as I ran from the small burning house that a friend and I rented.
