DFO: Ingrid intrigues me because her last name is misspelled like mine. It should be “Oliveira.” One of my great aunts migrated to Brazil. I also have a bevy of relatives that still live at the Azores Islands in the mid-Atlantic Ocean. All 4 grandparents migrated from the middle islands of the Azores between early 1890 and 1920. My maternal grandfather who died during the Depression was the only one who ever spoke English.
