PFPD Log: Drunk mom hurts child

Officers responded to a possible DUI where a female was observed being highly intoxicated and was attempting to leave the area in a vehicle with her 3 small children. Officers arrived in the area prior to the female driving; however, she was in the process of placing them in the car and was getting ready to leave. Because of the female’s level of intoxicated she injured her child’s arm b y slamming his arm in the door. The female was very uncooperative and kept screaming profanities at not only her children, but nearby families and officers. She was arrested for disturbing the peace and issued a citation for injury to a child.
