Police seek double slaying suspect

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a double-homicide suspect in the area of Barker Road after a victim’s 7-year-old son called 911.

Investigators with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office say two adults – a brother and sister – were shot dead Monday morning in a Spokane Valley home near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Michigan Road.

The suspect is 44-year-old Gilberto Delgado. He is described as a Hispanic male, 6 feet tall and 155 pounds with a shaved head, brown eyes and the name “Brenda” tattooed on one of his forearms.

He is driving a newer black Dodge Dart with tinted windows and red pin striping.

Investigators say he is armed and dangerous. People with information should call 911.

The boy witnessed the killing of his mom and uncle and called to report it, according to deputies. He was not injured/ SR.
