4 thumbs up for Garnet
I’m not much of a breakfast eater. But I do enjoy an occasional breakfast out. During my stay-cation last week with Junior and Miss Stephanie, I finally had an opportunity to see why so many breakfast eaters were ga-ga over the Garnet in Midtown. The quarters were cramped and the place was packed on Friday. But we got in without waiting. The coffee was good. The breakfast was superb. All home-grown, as advertised. I ate something called the “Sandpoint.” Think meat, meat and more meat in an omelet. The three-egg omelet was stuffed with ham, bacon and sausage — and their was a full sausage displayed on top. Throw in northwestern potatoes and a pancake — and it was all I could do not to cry uncle. Junior, Miss Stephanie and Mrs. O were also completely satisfied.
Question: What is your impression of the Garnet?
