CDAJim: ‘Volunteer fatigue’ settling in

CDAJim (RE: “Needed: IronmanCDA volunteers”): “Our community does an amazing job of providing volunteers for these type of events. However, with the new Ironman 70.3, the Race the River Sprint Triathlon, the Coeur d’Alene Triathlon, the Coeur d’Alene Crossing and the full Ironman all in a span of three summer months, I believe there is some “volunteer fatigue”. These have been very successful events and truly showcase our community, but perhaps it is time for the organizers to realize that there really is a finite number of people who volunteer to make these athletic events so successful.”
