IEN sues Idaho over network payments
The lead vendor on the defunct Idaho Education Network project took the state of Idaho to federal court Friday. Education Networks of America filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court — the latest installment in the 7-year-old battle over the statewide high school broadband system and its voided contract. In the I-Told-You-So Dept, didn’t HucksOnline try to warn local legislators and Butch Otter back when that its computer-in-every-school-backpack venture wasn’t a good idea? As one commenter has stated elsewhere, this is a way bigger scandal than 2 legislators sneaking off for a tryst.
