Stepfather in toddler death has long record

The stepfather who faces charges for killing his stepson has had several run-ins with the law in the past. Maliki Willburn was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital on Friday after suffering severe head trauma. An attorney announced on Monday that Willburn had died. The boy’s stepfather, Joseph Davis, is currently facing homicide charges and appeared in Kootenai County court on Monday. Court records show more than 20 court cases in Kootenai County for Davis.
