Schweitzer opens for season

Avid skiers and snowboarders lined up early on Friday morning to catch the first chair lift at Schweitzer Mountain’s opening day. Travis Tuttle was the first person in line for the lift and showed up ready to ski at 3:00 a.m. Friday was Tuttle’s first time catching the first chair lift of the season, but said he has caught the first ride of the day several times on regular ski days before/ Briana Bermensolo & Matt Vergara /KREM2.
