Stand against hate

Many of you voted for Donald Trump because you wanted change. With Trump’s administration picks you will get just that: Steve Bannon, a white nationalist for chief strategist; Myron Ebell, a climate change denier for EPA transition; Jeff Sessions, a known racist for attorney general; and as NSA adviser, Islamophobic Michael Flynn.

Trump and his administration have given permission to hate and terrorize others based upon gender, religion, skin color and sexual identity. Cathy McMorris Rodgers condones these actions by her unwillingness to speak out against racism, bigotry and corruption. Our representatives must stand against the hate encouraged and supported by Trump’s choices. This is not about political party, but about fundamental liberties for all people.

Take action. Call your representatives. Speak up. Get involved. Stand against hate and stand for strong, diverse, safe and united communities.
