Electors should fire Trump
Our founding fathers founded the Electoral College to ensure that only a qualified person becomes president. The bottom line is that Donald Trump is not qualified to be president in many ways - education, experience, temperament. With any job, if you’re not qualified, you don’t get the job. If not, then anybody who wanted to could get a job as a pilot or a doctor whether or not they have ever flown an airplane or been to medical school.
Most people would agree that it is a job requirement to have some sort of training in the field to which you are applying. Then why is the most difficult and important job in the entire world and that affects the entire population of the world allowed to be given to someone that is not remotely qualified for the job?
The Electoral College needs to do what’s right for the good of the country and do their job and vote for whoever is qualified for the job. In an election cycle that has many firsts, this would also be a first but one I believe is necessary for the good of all.
