Grammas say the darndest things, too

Do you remember the old Art Linkletter show (1952-70): “Kids Say the Darndest Things”? Well, grandparents say the darndest things, too. For example, take Cis Gors of Kootenai (near Sandpoint, for those keeping score at home). She title a recent post on her From A Simple Mind blog: “If I had known that grandkids were this much fun, I would have had them first.” In the post, Cis said that it’s fun watching her kids raise their kids and then become grandparents, too. Quoth: “Grandparenting is the greatest … as you get to see your kids deal with their children. The best revenge you will get on your own kids.”
