Trump’s picks from swamp

President-elect Donald Trump has hired as his chief strategist Stephen Bannon, who is a white nationalist and businessman, and he has hired as his national security adviser Ret. Army Lt. General Michael Flynn, who is anti-Islamic and advocates closer ties to Russia.

He is nominating Jeff Sessions, once denied a place on the U.S. District Court bench because of his racist views, as attorney general, and as secretary of Education, it will be Betsy DeVos, a wealthy philanthropist and Republican donor who advocates parents being able to spend taxpayer money to attend private parochial schools or attend publicly funded and privately run charter schools.

Also, there is U.S. Rep. Mike Pompeo as CIA director, who advocates collecting all metadata (internet information) and combining it with all public data, which includes financial and lifestyle information on us. And he picked Wilbur Ross as commerce secretary, a billionaire investor who is known to buy failing businesses and trying to resell them for a profit - a risk-taking speculator.

Trump said he would “drain the swamp.” Didn’t anybody tell him that to keep the critters out of the house that you had to close the door?
