The grill on my Kuma stove gave up the ghost last week. So Mrs. O and I headed to company HQ on old Highway 95, with the broken piece in hand. We bought our Kuma stove a decade or so ago. At the store, we were met by CEO/President Mark Freeman. He took the broken piece, walked into a back room, and brought back a new, improved grill. As I reached for my wallet, he waved me off, saying: “A lifetime guarantee should mean something.” No muss. No fuss. I’ve not only enjoyed a good wood stove for all these years. But now I know how strongly the company stands behind its product. I like companies who do that. Here’s your Tuesday Wild Card …
