Emily: Whole world doesn’t smile w/you

Remember that line in that old Louie Armstrong song that goes: “…when you’re smilin’ the whole world smiles with you”? Well, that might be so in Idaho. But Facebook Friend Emily Walton of Boise discovers it isn’t necessarily so in New York. Yesterday, while visiting New York, Emily Facebooked: “I just accidentally pulled an Idaho and smiled at a New Yorker crossing the street. You can take the girl out of Idaho but you can’t take the Idaho out of the girl!” Emily told Huckleberries that the recipient of her smile simply scowled back.
