Setting up state of Liberty

Some of us have dismissed secession talk by state Rep. Matt Shea, R-Spokane Valley , and two of his buddies out of hand. The idea doesn’t have a snowball’s chance of gaining traction. And it’s goofy. However, JohnA and other Bloglodytes here have a better approach to Shea’s proposal than simple mockery. They prefer sophisticated mockery. JohnA, for example, is offering ideas for possible state animal, tree and motto for the proposed state of Liberty:

• State animal: Bigfoot.
• State tree: Cell phone tower.
• State motto: ‘Give me Liberty, or give me meth!’

Others chimed in:

• State amphibian: Matt Shea?
• State bird: Snipe.
• State flower: Weed.
• First State Park: Long (Turd) Lake.
• Etc.
