#IAM911: Idaho dispatchers tell stories
Here’s another story from a 911 dispatcher in Idaho, compiled by PSAP Standards and Training Committee and published by Post Falls PD Facebook:
“You were ten-years-old when I talked to you. You told me your address and that you had found your stepdad hanging in the shed outside and had put your little sisters in the bedroom, turned the TV on and told them not to leave. My partner called your mom as I began to give you instructions on how to cut him down. Your mom arrived and immediately started CPR. You became hysterical because you didn’t have to be an “adult” anymore. I kept talking to you until officers took the phone from you. I went home and cried for you.” #IAM911
