My job it is achangin’
As I mentioned several days ago, my job is going to change somewhat after the first of the year. Instead of writing one, 20-inch column for Sundays, I’ll be knocking out 5 of them, of 10 inches apiece. That’ll mean a different approach to my blogging. It’ll evolve. But I’m planning to blog from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and then write for an hour to 90 minutes. Afterward, I’ll finish the day by blogging day-end stuff. My blog and related social media will become more of an information source for my column. In other words, you’ll become more of an information source. More than ever, you’ll be my eyes and ears for slices of life, one-liners, bumpersnickers, quotes, breaking news, etc. I’ve never written a daily column. But my boss, Rob Curley, likes Huckleberries. So I’m going all in for the New Year. We’ll begin a serious conversation about this on Tuesday, Jan. 3, when the new duties kick in/ DFO.
