I like Groundhog’s Day. Big time. My father was born on Groundhog’s Day in 1921. And Big Earl, one of my BFFs, is a Groundhog’s Day baby. Beyond that, as I’ve said off and on for the last month, I consider Groundhog’s Day to be the beginning of the end for winter. It might huff and puff some after Feb. 2. But it’s on the way out. Besides, Punxsutawney Phil, failed to see his shadow today , meaning that we will have an early spring. Alleluia. Now for today’s Wild Card …
