Washington GOP fights gender-neutral bathrooms

Gender-specific restrooms in Washington state are no longer quite so gender-specific after a Dec. 26 decision by the state’s Human Rights Commission. The decision is something the commission had been working on for more than three years as a way to allow transgender people to use restrooms, locker rooms and other private facilities of the gender they identify with.
