Wiedenhoff to challenge Barbieri

Fritz Wiedenhoff has announced he will challenge incumbent Rep. Vito Barbieri, R- Dalton Gardens, for the Republican nomination for Legislative District 2, seat A. “I am a conservative Republican coupled with a strong passion for public service as well as serving the community,” he said in a press release. “I believe these, among other qualities, uniquely position me to properly represent the 2nd District of Kootenai County.” Wiedenhoff said legislators who become obstructionist do not help move the state forward.
