DFO: Hagadone purchase important

Duane Hagadone’s purchase of the rundown RV park will launch the long overdue upgrade of that stretch of Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive — and the eastern entrance to Coeur d’Alene. I remember the impact that the new Spokesman-Review building on Northwest Boulevard had on the western entrance to Coeur d’Alene. The SR building at 608 Northwest Boulevard replaced an old recycling center. It prompted others to construct nice buildings nearby. Now, there are quality buildings and businesses up and down Northwest Boulevard, from Riverstone on the north all the way to downtown Coeur d’Alene. The eventual transformation of the old railroad right-of-way west of Northwest Boulevard will make it one of the nicest city entrances in the Northwest. I suspect East Sherman Avenue and the northern end of Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive will follow suit, as a result of this purchase by Duane Hagadone and his corporation/ DFO.
