The week that was…

Tonight’s “Idaho Reports” rounds up the happenings of the fourth week of this year’s legislative session, from Medicaid expansion to tax cuts. Melissa Davlin interviews House Health & Welfare Chairman Fred Wood, R-Burley, state Health & Welfare Director Dick Armstrong, and Boise emergency room physician Po Huang, on Medicaid Expansion vs. PCAP; Ogilvie talks with lawmakers, a lobbyist and a former Idaho Supreme Court justice about common misconceptions about how government works and what the Legislature does; and Davlin interviews House Minority Leader John Rusche, D-Lewiston, who returned to the chambers this week.
On the pundits panel, I join BSU emeritus professor Jim Weatherby, Bill Dentzer of the Idaho Statesman, and co-hosts Aaron Kunz and Davlin to discuss the week’s developments, from the Legislature’s first-ever Medicaid expansion hearing to election legislation. The show airs at 8 tonight; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time, 9:30 Pacific.
