Letter: Why was Candlelight targeted

This past Sunday, Jan. 31st, Candlelight Christian Fellowship was greeted by men who came to our church facilities in an effort to support the right to life for the unborn. They were from an organization called “Abolish Human Abortion North Idaho.” Sadly, these men represent a good cause — in the wrong way. The signage they employed pictured dismembered human babies who were the victims of abortion. While we at Candlelight are pro-life, are actively doing all within our means to provide counseling, support, and encouragement to women and men who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, are generously supporting Open Arms Pregnancy Care Center here in Coeur d’Alene, and are very outspoken about the evils of human abortion, we seem to be the recipient of attention given by this organization.
