KCSO seeks info on nail vandal
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individual(s) responsible for a string of
incidents where nails are being thrown into the roadway. Beginning in July 2015, the Sheriff’s Office has responded in excess of ten times to the intersection of Lancaster Road and Strahorn Road for reports of nails being thrown into the road, causing damage to numerous vehicle tires. The most recent incident was reported this morning at just after 10 am. The caller reported finding 20+ nails thrown into the roadway, which has been consistent with the other reports. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (208) 446-1300/
