GOP defends prez primary billboards
The Idaho Republican Party is slamming the Idaho Democratic Party for its complaint about the 22 billboards posted around the state by the Idaho Secretary of State’s office advertising the March 8 presidential primary election, but not mentioning that it’s only for the Republican and Constitution parties; Idaho Democrats will caucus on March 22 to make their presidential nominee selection. “The Democrats’ complaint is invalid, untruthful, and nothing more than a shallow attempt to mislead voters and advertise their caucus, an event that very few know about and even fewer will participate in,” Idaho GOP Chairman Steve Yates said in a statement/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
