Madsen provides balance

It was encouraging to see Sue Lani Madsen’s Feb. 12 essay on the minimum wage in our city’s newspaper. It is an example of The Spokesman-Review providing balance on issues.

Many of us want to hear both sides, although Madsen’s article may have been better placed on the editorial page. However, editorials seem to be drifting off the editorial page into the hard news section of the newspaper.

Keep up the balanced approach. It is appreciated.
