Cruz plans North Idaho visit

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has tentatively set his sights on the Coeur d’Alene area with plans to hold a rally here on March 7. Lora Gervais, who is campaigning for Cruz in North Idaho, confirmed Friday that Ted Cruz will be in North Idaho at 10 a.m., March 7, but the location has yet to be secured. “We have tentatively reserved the Greyhound Park in Post Falls, but we are waiting to hear from the campaign to see if that is the type of venue they are looking for,” Gervais said, adding she expects Cruz to draw a couple thousand supporters/ Jeff Selle , Coeur d’Alene Press.
