Colonialism lives

I’m watching CIA Director John Brennan on “60 Minutes” explaining why ISIS wants to kill Americans. I’m sorry I can’t verbalize his answer, but it’s pretty much the same regurgitation I continuously hear. I believe Brennan is a good, conscientious director, but there’s nothing new to his approach.

What would happen if at a designated date all traditionally non-Muslim nations removed all combat units from traditionally Muslim nations, say from Pakistan to the Mediterranean, including North Africa if need be? I don’t think this need apply to Indonesia, but if that’s a problem, do the same.

I’ve frequently heard Middle East residents state that countries such as United States, United Kingdom, France, Australia, etc., are occupying their countries and murdering their people. I’m always amazed how Americans can’t turn it around.

How would they react if foreign troops permanently occupied our native soil? Even troops from Muslim nations? We all know the answer to this. But this reasonable solution seems to evade all the brightest people we have here and overseas. I wonder why. I know why. Twenty-first century colonialism.
