Apps change employment
The emergence of new apps like Uber and changes in technology have entirely changed the nature and concept of employment toward the positive.
Unlike in the past, many people are able to do independent freelance work through the use of technology; freelance jobs that offer flexible hours, pay commission, and the workers don’t have a boss. This is significantly a great step forward because it incentivizes people to use their salesmanship, creativity and entrepreneurship in order to earn more money and serve customers.
This step forward will not only change the very nature of the job market, but it will also provide a better market for both customers and firms. When an employee works on commission, be it an Uber, the financial sector, online or in any other way, they have more of an incentive to use their innovative and entrepreneurial skills because their work is directly related to their performance.
Moreover, this offers a market with incredibly flexible hours for those who are looking to earn extra money on the side such as stay-at-home moms, students and full-time workers looking to earn extra income.
