Festivals losing money

Why is the Festival at Sandpoint still being held at War Memorial Field? According to a 1993 settlement agreement between the festival and area residents, the last year the festival was to be held at Memorial Field was 1995.

Most of the festival events have been losing money annually, and it’s the sponsors that have kept them going. It appears the main reason the festival continues is so its employees can continue receiving their lucrative salaries.
