State of the District talk today

Coeur d’Alene schools Superintendent Matt Handelman will be one of the featured speakers later this afternoon for the fourth annual Coeur d’Alene Schools State of the District meeting, which is titled, ” Highlighting Innovative Approaches in Education.” The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Coeur d’Alene Library Community Room, 702 E Front Ave, CdA. Feature presentations include:

  • Superintendent Handelman: Updating Attendance Zones & Tackling Growth Issues, and: Leveraging Innovative Community Partnerships.
  • Jim Windisch, Bryan Elementary School Teacher: “Learning & Leading in a Connected Classroom.
  • Amber Miller, Lakes Magnet Middle School Teacher: “Doing the Impossible: Growth & Grades.
  • Jamie Esler, Lake City High teacher, Lynne Peters, Lake City High teacher, and Eric Edmonds, Lake City High teacher : “LCHS Outdoor Studies Program: Connecting Students & Place.”

The general public, parents, teachers, students, and all community stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
