Leo wins first Oscar, Rock steals spotlight

A newspaper drama that probably makes the job look more exciting than it really is (haven’t seen it) took best picture at last night’s Oscars. Leo FINALLY won an Academy Award. All the fun and glamour was overshadowed by the “Oscars So White” controversy, according to the AP: The night, however, belonged to host Chris Rock, who launched immediately into the uproar over the lack of diversity in this year’s nominees, and didn’t let up. “The White People’s Choice Awards,” he called the Oscars, which were surrounded by protests (including one outside the Dolby Theatre by the Rev.
