Local D’s offer caucus training

News release from Kootenai County Democrats:

Iowa isn’t the only state having a caucus!! The Democratic Party in Idaho has our caucuses on March 22. Kootenai County’s will be at the North Idaho College Boswell Hall starting at 6 p.m. that day. At the caucus, we elect 35 delegates from Kootenai County (based on voter numbers) to represent their candidates at the Idaho State Convention Caucus June 17-19 in Boise. From there, delegates are elected to attend the Democratic National Convention at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia July 25-28. The Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee is doing a training for people who want to participate and/or become a delegate on March 22. The 30-45 minute training will be Monday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. The training will be free and open to the public.
