Ferry County Rail Trail beckons nordic skiers

Events planned for 2016 Ski Day on the Ferry Country Rail Trail.

WINTERSPORTS — The Ferry County Rail Trail is being groomed for the sixth annual Ski Day , featuring free gear to try for cross-country skiing, instructions and other activities.

The base of operations will be Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Kiwanis Road Trailhead at the north end of Curlew Lake.
